In Germany, around 100 million radiological examinations are carried out every year, with procedures becoming increasingly complex and the volume of data per examination many times greater. This makes traditional manual viewing of the images more time consuming.

By using modern methods of medical image analysis, diagnostic findings can be created on a computer-assisted basis. This not only reduces the likelihood of misdiagnosis, but also decreases the time required to evaluate medical data.
